We will be playing come rain or shine Monday, September 8th!
When I look at my children, I am grateful that they were born strong and healthy.
Sadly, not all babies are born healthy.
Every year, half a million babies are born prematurely in the U.S, and the number continues to grow. Since 1981, the rate of premature birth has increased an alarming 30%. Some babies die; others may face lifelong health problems, like cerebral palsy, blindness, mental retardation and chronic lung disease. The March of Dimes is committed to finding out what causes premature birth and how it can be prevented.
Research and education will help strengthen our mission that all babies are born healthy. Our legacy will be a future generation of strong, healthy babies.

“Throughout our ordeal we became aware of the advancements that have been made for preemies, some of which probably saved Evelyn’s life. From the sugar water that was used to feed her and the surfactant used to keep her lungs from collapsing, to the specialized incubators and ventilators that kept her alive, without these, we know she wouldn’t be here. And without the March of Dimes, these life-saving technologies probably wouldn’t exist.”
“We are very happy to become involved with the March of Dimes now, because we know without all the work that the March of Dimes does, we would not have our sassy, funny, strong-willed beautiful Evelyn in our lives.”
